HEMC force update possible ?

I see that Lightyear is now available, but our last HEMC update is 5th of August. Can the HEMC be forced to update with the latest coding? It is on most of the time so it should have been downloaded in my opinion…

Hey Marc! If HEMC is on and link with Internet, then yes, update should be done by itself. If not, update will be done once you put it back on and it can take couple minutes to update. Lightyear was release mid-day today, so maybe it wasn’t live when you checked? Can you look back and let me know if it’s still not there?

We had to turn off the and then again turn on the HEMC, then it said checking for new content and it was there. Evidently this helped better than waiting for the update being already on? That’s why I asked this :wink:

I agree! It should update itself however. If it’s doing the same for the next releases, I would recommend opening a ticket with support@d-box.com since it is not normal.
